GoodCake is a micro bakery in Calgary. Every cake, cookie and sweet pastry is a little piece of joy, handcrafted with love and care in our kitchen. We use only the finest natural ingredients and a hint of sweetness to create something truly special. Whether you’re sharing it with loved ones or treating yourself, our cakes, cookies and pastries are made to bring a smile to your face.
Our bakery runs on a simple rule: nothing leaves our kitchen that we would not serve at our own table or put in our kids' lunchbox. That means all our baked products are slowly and lovingly hand-made in small batches, have way less sugar, made with high quality ingredients with no preservatives, binders, stabilizers or anything our young kids cannot pronounce or understand.

Hi, my name is Chika and I'm the baker and founder of GoodCake. I started baking many years ago, and it has always brought me alot of joy. What started as a love letter to my family, a way to put less sugar and more joy on our own table, is slowly becoming a bakery and a community I love so much. Every recipe here is one I make at home, with ingredients I trust and flavours my kids actually ask for.
I still bake every product in my small kitchen, pipe every finish by hand, and taste each batch before it leaves the kitchen. If it isn't good enough for the people I love most, it doesn't leave. That's the whole promise of GoodCake — care you can taste, in every slice.
